SEN students
Special Needs Education (SEN) students includes person with learning disability, intellectual disability, autism, ADHD, physical disability, visual impairment, hearing and speech impairment.
SEN students usually have difficulties in expressing their will and emotions by speech. Music has provided a safe environment for them to interact and communicate. Through the interactive music therapy, SEN students can learn:

turn-taking concept;

interact and corporate with peers;

extend joint attention;

extend attention span;

increase self-confidence; and

understand and express their emotions.
* Music therapist will set therapeutic goal for each participant uniquely. It is possible to have other goals for this population.
Elderly
Elderly are easier to have various pain which affect their daily life. Having lesser connection with others are also leads to lower quality of life and higher possibility to have depression.
Music therapy provides an opportunity for the elderly to communicate and collaborate with their peers and build a social network. Through interactive music therapy, elderly can extend their motivation on body movement, enhance their self-confidence and express their emotions. Through singing, elderly can strengthen the oral muscles which helps to maintain the swallowing ability. In the therapeutic process, because of using the brain with high concentration, studies in various countries have indicated that music therapy can delay or maintain the stage of dementia (Alzheimer's disease).

Disabled person
Persons with disabilities include autism, hearing impairment, visual impairment, intellectual disability mental illness, physical disability, and speech disorders.
Through improvised music, listening and singing, participants can:

Improve self-confidence; and

Recognise and express emotions.

Caretaker
As a caregiver, it is easy to have burdens and losing one-self.
Music therapy can provide a chance for caregivers to rest and reconnect with themselves through music. Through improvisational music, songwriting and singing, caregivers can relieve their stress, regulate emotions and thoughts, in order to take care of the people in need with a healthier mind and body.
Organisation and professions
Other than group and individual music therapy, workshops are also available. Through simple music interaction, co-workers and professionals can experience the power of music and understand how music therapy can help various people. Participants can also relieve stress and regulate their emotions.
